The Education of our future generation is our
most important investment. Riverside is a proud partner of the
award-winning Midway Independent School District. The entire
district received the " Exemplary" rating, the highest
rating awarded by the Texas Education Agency. MISD is firmly
committed to excellence in achievement in Academics, Athletics,
and the Arts.
This pursuit of excellence begins at Speegleville Elementary
School, an "Exemplary" campus considered by many as
the " best kept secret in MISD." Students benefit
from the Accelerated Reader program, get a technological head
start through its computer centers, and round out their learning
through its green classroom, music programs, and its exceptional
library. Venture programs begin here, and are offered for talented
and gifted students. Accelerated curriculum is available throughout
your child's' school career, as well as Fine Arts programs and
Advanced Placement courses to prepare them for institutions
of higher learning. The recent $54 million bond package invests
in further improvements and construction of new campuses to
accommodate future growth within the district. |
